Haha! True dat. This was on preorder.

I still have two bucket items purge or not… the JCM-900 studio head and the Friedman Plex. This pedal was my attempt to make sure the JCM-900 should stay on it. I’m still going to purge… just trying to do so thoughtfully. I can flip this either way for a low cost before I plunk down the cash for the head.

These pedals could have looked so much better if they shared the white stripe piping (nomenclature?) and grill below that matched the originals amps. I’m ok to give a begrudging pass on that if they sound great under my fingers.

You know I was thinking…. If this sounds really really great through my EVH-GB loaded Fenders, it would be cool to own them all as a Marshal Library of MIAB’s. I hope to do a series of side-by-side evaluations of this pedal along with my others. This system works pretty well for me but I’ve learned trying things at least three times really helps. You’ll usually notice a pattern of preferences and it makes decisions easier.

Off the top of my head I’ll throw in the CM Panama, CB Dirty little secret, Direct Drive V4, some Boss pedals and whatever else I can dig up.

I’ll use that same setup posted before until I can test with Fender. Although, I could technically load up a Fender and EVH IR in a modeler I wonder which modeler would react most accurately not only for amp and cab emulation but also with regard to accepting pedals in front.

Right now at my current location, I have the FM3 MKII, Ampero II Stage and Ampero mini. I’m leaning to the stage b/c ease of use.
