These are actually the main reason why I'd like such a guitar (I might be adding their bridge to one of mine in case I can't afford the full deal). I always dreamt about getting a pedal steel one day, even looked around for a while, but it has just not been inside any practical realm. They're very expensive, kinda tough to maintain, not easy to transport and, most of all, pretty hard to learn - so all of that isn't a great idea for the remaining years of my "career".
But the Multibender, while certainly not rendering things into a pedal steel, is adressing most of these issues. I've been fooling around with them here and there and could instantly get some neat results out of things. A really excellent idea.
