So it seems like it's for people who collaborate online to make music. But having a pedal do this seems weird. It would be way more interesting to have basically a cloud collaboration in a basic DAW with loop elements. Maybe that already exists for something like Garage Band or Fruity Loops.

The file transfer thkng is a bit gimmicky, but it’s a useful gimmick imo. I would use it for sure.

But I’m more interested in what the overall feature set/workflow/ i/o and what else might be being offered there

Me and my bass player both currently use RC-500s so interested as to how this might compare


Back to the telegram thing though, when I’m writing it’s not in front of a DAW. I loathe using DAWs in fact lol. So being able to just pop an idea right over in a more natural/creative playing environment for me is compelling.

Hell half the time when I’m sending files to my band mates, I’m just flying in stuff from my looper anyway once I open up the DAW

But yeah my interest in this would ultimately boil down to what the looper functionality and features are on top of that

So I have no interest in the main features of this pedal - however, the inventor makes a very good point about most loopers. Whenever a button is multi-purpose and also has double-tap and/or press & hold features, the looper cannot start and stop accurately.

I've become obsessed with this concept now. Does anyone know of any other simpler looper pedals that have this dedicated "precision" type start/stop button? Obviously it has to be a looper with more than a single button, but I've studied the instructions for multiple 2 and 3 button loopers (and even loopers you can add an aux switch to) and even though they appear to have a "dedicated" start/stop button, those start/stop buttons still also have double-tap and push & hold features (such as erasing), which does not solve the delay problem.

This is basically an elaborate looper, that allows you to load loops from the app (downloaded from the interwebz), and then play back and into whatever you want. Kinda cool. I'm not seeing how much it costs though.

I may be misunderstanding you but the RC-500 should do what your asking… although the default setting for deleting a loop is holding the stop button. But there’s 3 buttons that you can assign to do whatever the heck you want, and on top of that you can also use a 1 or 2 button boss footswitch that you can also assign to do whatever you want, and if you want even more single function taps, the options become infinite with a midi controller

FTPing or dropboxing files works just fine. Not sure what this product is meant to do either.
