Incoming NAD

As things would turn out, I also now have a DVL-1 en route. One of George's employees sold his to me. This one is in black carbon fiber as opposed to the silver/grey carbon fiber. I am sofa king stoked! On top of all that, both me and the amp reside in the same state, so I should have mine early next week.
Nik said the 2525 would be 4 - 6 weeks. The wait will suck, but I am positive it will be totally worth it. His emails were amazing!
The DVL1 is a great amp. Congrats!

Too funny, I have an older episode of ToneTalk playing in the background and as I read that last line I heard Dave Friedman say "I know about Ceriatone (Sir-ree-uh-tone) but they don't use my name, they copy designs but unfortunately there's nothing you can do about that"

:rofl

Man, I was in a funk for the better part of the day but that little shot of synchronicity is all I needed to turn it around.

Oh..... Dave missed the irony of his own comment, didn't he?

You mean a guy who makes his living selling copies or slightly modified copies of other designs shouldn't call out another guy who does exactly the same thing? As long as neither of them are violating IP laws and they aren't, they are both doing what the IP laws intended, bringing competition to the market to benefit consumers.

That’s it, right there. We already know they’re allowed to and no one contested that at all, it’s the pot calling the kettle black that’s the specific thing la szum is referencing.

The eagle (DVL-1) landed Saturday. I have to wait to fire it up due to grandkids being around. The black carbon fiber is sexy as hell! It's gonna be a super tough decision which new amp to play at a gig first.

George is a damn genius! Making all the modes accessible via the footswitch is the best thing ever and I forever have wished Mesa did that on their amps. If George can do it, they sure can, but don't. BIG mistake in my book. That pretty much makes the DVL-1 a 4 "channel" amp. I may have to ditch my boost pedals!

I have a VST of a Larry Dino.
