I'm finding my playing of G 'N R Novembe Rain (Something I'm new too lead guitar, even though I've played U2 most of my life), has improved with weight training.
It's as if my fingers are not only better and more efficient at string bending but the notes are also echoed clearer.
I also find my playing of U2 has improved ever since my fingers have become stronger.
My legs, back, and shoulders are also stronger and capable of maintaining better posture sitting and standing for longer periods of time without pain.
Whoever, says working out with weights doesn't improve guitar playing is lying to you.
At the top of the world all guitarists are known for resistance training and cardio as supplementation to theory and technique.
