Could possibly investigate into that (comparing the same files played through either version and using the TXO as an interface), but as it absolutely doesn't bother me, I possibly couldn't care less.

Yeah, I think it is exactly the same, and any differences come from the quality of the audio interface used on the computer. I use an IK interface, and it sounds exactly the same.
 
I don't think I'm interested in it, but was talking to a buddy of mine who doesn't have much gear anymore and was looking for a way to get really good amp tones in headphones. This seems like an ideal fit...great amp tones with options to dial in a little bit of reverb or some basic chorus/delay. Will be curious how the iOS side works.

Speaking of Tone Models, any chance the existing collections will get converted to V2? Assuming you have the source material and it doesn't require recapturing everything.
