Add the Edge Pro (1/MK1/Original) to that. Sucks major ass, too.No not really but it’s not as good as the original edge. The ones to avoid are the Edge pro2 and the edge 3 .Also the Takeuchi is utter garbage.

I can make that work.Add the Edge Pro (1/MK1/Original) to that. Sucks major ass, too.
Ok. What's the difference between the Edge Pro and the Edge Pro 2? From pics they look identical. Build quality? Sadly next to no extensive info online.I can make that work.
The diagram that was posted here first referencing the trem angle is not the EZII. That’s what I was pointing out. The manual is confusing in this regard. There are both trems on page two. The zero point part.
My point still stands. The image I posted is of the EZII without the awful ZPS because that’s what I own now.Different block to the one in the video.
Not the block, the knife edge. The block does not matter. The knife edge is the only thing that matters. The zero point still represents a right angle of the block to the strings. The error is still what I said.
The position of the block relative to the zero point is what makes the trem at the angle you don’t like. Not the block, the knife edge. The block does not matter. The knife edge is the only thing that matters.
Edge pro two is a pos and edge pro is a Gotoh build. A bit like the difference between a Floyd special and a 1984 model, they look pretty similar but the difference is huge in anything that affects performance. The easiest way to tell them apart visually is there is a saddle insert for the string to sit on at the intonation point of the Edge pro and not the 2.Ok. Tiny dab of WD-40 will solve that!stiff fine tuners.
Yes it’s not bad.FWIW, as a serial trem abuser; the Edge Zero 2 is one of the better budget/mid tier trems on the Ibanez roster. Certainly better than an Edge Pro 2, Edge 3, TRS 2, or (for non Ibanez) a Floyd Special. Granted that I took off the ZPS and upgraded the arm with a Red Bishop, it feels similar to my Edges and Gotohs. My only gripe with them now is the stiff fine tuners.
