Love that tone. Maybe it’s my technique or guitars. I dunno but I can pinch the crap out of harmonics.

Billy made me want to master that early on.

I've pretty much run out of things to want in the last 2 years. Holidays & birthdays which were always my excuse to add something I've been gassing for have come & gone gearless. I thought my G.A.S. was finally cured. Then I happened upon a demo of this Marshall-in-box pedal. At first I was mildly interested and asked myself why do I want this? I already have multiple devices that give me that tone. I figured I would grab one anyway. The unobtainium factor brought the G.A.S. back and I pulled the trigger on one for more than I wanted to spend today. I'm looking forward to running it through my Bassman so I can add yet another path to a sound I already have covered many times over including with a couple of legit Plexi modded amps. :bonk :rofl

It's gonna be fun. :beer

Be aware that GAS is a flat circle.

My pedal GAS subsided after "completing" my huge "band board" and, after that, "recreating" that board with my Helix Floor during a long A/B session.

Next, I started lusting for a vintage Peavey head. Of course, "the stars aligned" and a few nice ones spawned locally, so I had to grab one.

A week later, I'm getting into gears with the next project: converting the looks of my 1980 Matsumoku LP (she's a player!) closer to a blacked-out LP Standard, since I've been having serious GAS for those for years but really don't feel like spending 2,000 € for a guitar.

When this is done and I'm happy with its new look, I'm sure pedal GAS will come back.

And so on... 😂

I had bad luck with the Bogner pedal I had. Switch worked intermittently. It was used so who knows? The LaGrange pedal always stood out to me though. I'd be interested in trying it \m/

I tried the .08’s and they sucked. They didn’t last much more than a week.

.10’s on my LP’s and Hard tails. .09’s on my Floyd Rose’s.

My comment was on the brand (Dunlop) and quality not the size. The string life was noticeably and significantly worse than EB Slinky's and the NYXL's I have mostly been using.
