I Want a Headless

I've been offered a Legator from a guy in Tipperary. Any options on them?

It's a long way.
The shop I used to work at carried Legator when they first started up and honestly, I wasn’t all that impressed with them. Now, this was over 10 years ago so maybe things have changed since then but overall they were just meh for me.

Corona Gravity NT

These are $690 on eBay right now. I had a Corona Ape a few years back that was pretty dang decent (with EMGs).

What I haven’t found are 22 fret headless strats aside from the Kiesel Delos HD. Strandberg Classics are 24 only, as are the cheap headless copies. Any ideas?

How about the….Kiesel Delos HD? 🤣

I have a Ghost 6 multiscale. Absolutely the most terrible neck/fretwork I've ever witnessed on a guitar that I've owned.

It's at a Luthier now to get refretted.

Doesn't mean anything about the one you may buy, definitely bring a fret rocker and test it up and down the neck.

Don't have a fret rocker. Will a steel ruler do?

Any tips? Meeting this guy in two hours.

Sight the neck from the body. Check the relief by fretting the G string on the 1st and 14th fret, then look at the gap under fret 7 . It should be less than the thickness of the high E. A perfect neck will have slight relief under fret 7-8 and be perfectly level from around 12 to the end ,possibly even with a slight fall away in the very top. Check for signs of damage to the truss rod nut . Look for over tightened screws crushing the wood. In fact look for sighs of any incompetent adjustment ( damage to screw heads etc). Good luck and don’t buy it unless you are confident in your judgement.
