A built in sound pressure level device in a modeler or even a tuner pedal.
you set the level you are trying to achieve…or avoid…once done the LED for tap tempo changes color from normal green to yellow to red as it approaches and exceeds the threshold you set. Fractal and Helix could even let the actual numerical reading flash on a scribble strip. Or just go all out and give the meter its own little screen.
i hereby relinquish any rights to this to the first manufacturer to include it in their product.
hell, there is probably a grant/tax credit from the government waiting for you protectors of the public welfare to claim for saving the children from hearing damage!
