My rig is sounding so insanely good right now!!

I’m going into my 3rd weekend of this show and I can’t wait to play every night because it just sounds soooo good. This is the best tone I’ve had in ages and I’ve been getting lots of compliments from the other musicians.

Most importantly I don’t feel like I’m fighting it or hating gear like I have the past few years.

Using my black Strat with HS-3’s. Every pedal is doing exactly what I want and balancing together beautifully. The core tones with these drives are :chef . With my digital rigs I usually have to choose one modulation for a show; I love having access to analog flanger, chorus, phaser, and tremolo all together. It’s given me more ability to use the one that sounds best for each spot in the music. The true spring reverb and the SDE-3000D are amazing. I only wish I could have fit the Carbon Copy and DynaComp on the board for a few spots.

The JRT has such great clarity and that amazing midrange Fred’s amps all seem to have. Even the Mic No Mo seems to be doing better than I expected. And the Frommel JohnH attenuator is fantastic, I highly recommend it!

This is awesome! I love when a rig just makes you smile and doesn't frustrate!

IMHO it is the best attenuator around at any price. I have built two so far, 2 and 8 ohm, but planning to build a 4 and a 16 to round out the set. I believe the 2 ohm version is a large part of why my wife has tolerated a Super Reverb as my family room amp!

Nice, are you doing theater pit work? The board is nice for sure but this photo features one of my absolute favorite things to check out - the crap people keep on top of their amps at gigs.

Yeah, theater pit work mostly. You just Reminded me of something I’d forgotten all about!

I had this Chewbacca PEZ topper that a girl in high school gave me as payment for doing this gig for her. I always kept it on top of my amp every show I played, sort of a good luck charm. But I haven’t had an amp in so long I’d forgotten about it.

I just found it and returned it to its rightful place
