My rig is sounding so insanely good right now!!
I’m going into my 3rd weekend of this show and I can’t wait to play every night because it just sounds soooo good. This is the best tone I’ve had in ages and I’ve been getting lots of compliments from the other musicians.
Most importantly I don’t feel like I’m fighting it or hating gear like I have the past few years.
Using my black Strat with HS-3’s. Every pedal is doing exactly what I want and balancing together beautifully. The core tones with these drives are
. With my digital rigs I usually have to choose one modulation for a show; I love having access to analog flanger, chorus, phaser, and tremolo all together. It’s given me more ability to use the one that sounds best for each spot in the music. The true spring reverb and the SDE-3000D are amazing. I only wish I could have fit the Carbon Copy and DynaComp on the board for a few spots.
The JRT has such great clarity and that amazing midrange Fred’s amps all seem to have. Even the Mic No Mo seems to be doing better than I expected. And the Frommel JohnH attenuator is fantastic, I highly recommend it!
