I spent $1300 on a Mesa 2x12 Split Back so you don't have to (but you really should)!

That's some good information. I actually am thinking I might cheap out and go anothe route and have one of those rolling stainless steel racks from Amazon with five shelves to fit all my gear. This would be pragmatic in my situation, where I constantly have to plug in and plug out of equipment because I don't have one of those amp switchers or enough cabs or loadboxes to leave everything plugged in.
I get it. Took me a long time, incidentally, to realize that in my studio, an amp switcher is a good thing, but being a studio rat, it makes life easier for me. Probably not needed if one is simply playing/gigging.
I don't own a car because I drive too fast, so the equipment I would like to carry is bare minimum. Back in the day, I would be carrying a Marshall MG50DFX cab, a pedalboard and a guitar on a bus.
I remember taking an Ampeg Revebrerocket II and a combo organ on a bus in Detroit when I was too young to drive!

After that, got rides to various places. LOL
