And yet, this is speaking to me...

Somebody talk me down PLEASE!!!

I really like the looks of it -- quite distinctive!

But since you asked to be talked out of it....
  • It's always going to be a strat. Took me YEARS to realize I was never going to bond with my American Standard.
Wound up giving it to my brother (who loved it so much he dumped all of his other guitars....)

  • One of the things I despise about the Strat is the thickness of the body. Double-cut makes a lot of sense, but it's still a slab-style body that seems unnecessarily thick, especially the horns.

  • Even if it doesn't fade (and there's no reason to think it will), that color may not age well with you. You might walk into the room one day and wonder WTF on that color....

  • It's a Fender; at least to me, non-Chinese Squiers are far better value. (My daily drivers are a Squier Tele Deluxe and a Squier Starcaster.) But that's just me; I prefer cheap guitars....
That's all I got. And honestly, I myself wouldn't listen to any of it; it looks sharp and I love the pickup config. [I will say I would totally put block-style inlay stickers on that fretboard -- it would look so much sharper with black blocks!]

The real question is this: Does it pair better with the GX-10 or the GX-100?!
