Exactly this. I remember being very impressed with my sons (then 8 yo) classmate. My son being totally spoiled, doesnt know how to anything (my fault of course) while this Laestadian girl was starting up her own business, knocking doors in the rain and such things. She showed up once and had the most politest behavior I've ever witnessed in a kid. "Hello sir, is this an appropriate time for you, i hope i dont disturb you and your family. I would like to show you my business and what i can offer". And she sat at our kitchen table being all intelligent and explained how she would order some stuff and what it would cost and booked an later date on which she would deliver the stuff (idk...it was candles and some food jars or something).
I was like... wtf... told my wife that i feel like a stupid parent when theres people like that out there training their kids to become salesmen at 8 yo...
haha...
