I had a jam with my Bad Cat Lynx. Just with a couple guitars and some pedals. Basically a revisit through my new cabinet, to see how it sounds. I guess the planets aligned or there was something in the water but I got some of the fattest chugs I've heard in a long time! Check this out:

It's a very unique amp - very chewy, aggressive but articulate at the same time.

I’d love to try one of these, I remember being pretty surprised when it came out and dug what I heard but I’m assuming their lack of high-gain amps in the past hasn’t helped push this amp into that world very much.

This is the kind of amp, where captures are good for my GAS... I'd likely dial this thing in for one mega chug setting and leave it; if I had the real deal.

So, finding a ToneX/NAM/QC capture will let me feel like I have access to some of that flavor without having to buy yet another IRL amp. IIRC I have a Lynx cap I really liked on the QC. Will have to hunt that down and fire it up for fun.

I really want to set up NAM but I spend 12 hours a day on the computer for work and really want to use hardware for it instead. I hope Line6 integrates it into the Stadium or someone else, so far all of the options I have seen either convert the captures (poorly) or can only do an amp and nothing else, I'd love a better piece of hardware. Thanks for the captures anyway @2dor !!

As much as I love and use captures and stuff, I just hope we'll never forget about the real amps... Without some amazing tube amps (and the people making them), what would there be left to profile? I to people who using modeling and captures I always advise to get at least one tube amp. You get to support the industry that way, plus it gives you something to profile for yourself, which is fun! :)

Genuine digital amps. Which then possibly wouldn't need to be profiled.
