Amongst my boutique gear bloodbath,
something surfaced..,
I can get more out of the same amp with a
different cabinet & speakers.
Now, I went through many driver’s before I found the speakers that I always go to.
The cabinet designer/builder needs to be a bad ass.
Overbuilt cabs take too long to break in.
I think the overbuilt’s add compression while being nice & woody.
Old cabinets can turn into duds, be careful of the vintage stuff.
The Radial cabinet switcher is dope af!
The wood the cabinet is made of is VERY important.

I honestly think I hear more of the Celestions
then the amps with my influences, I identify
with them because I grew up listening to my favorite bands through them..
I think it would be rad if Celestion made coffee,

A 1X12 will be all I need but I dig a 4X12 at mouse fart volumes as much as a 1X12 or 2X12 at MF volumes.
Wheels & caster’s are MANDATORY.
-including the 1X12!!
The answer is always..wheels & caster’s (LOL)
A slightly slanted top baffle in a bottom straight cabinet is critical in a 4X12.
I prefer a standard size 2X12 not the oversized.
I like the 2X12 to be deeper/fatter as opposed to taller.
Grill cloth is also VERY important.
I’m firmly planted in small check.
