My fm3 left yesterday and for the first time in ~15 years I don’t own a single digital modeler.
It’s kind of a weird feeling. A little scary

Is this due to the Lotus giving you volume control of your amps?
The beauty of being a true old fart is to embrace and accept what it is.(I’m not an old fart, but that oddly feels very “get off my lawn” to say lol)
Its all just devices. Use what you like. There is no ethos involved.
I tend to keep stuff, because I hate the process of selling. I also find that the less I sell, the less I buy. Often I find out that my dissatisfaction with a piece of gear has little to
do with the gear, and I end up "rediscovering" (realizing there was nothing wrong with) the given guitar, amp, pedal or modeler in the first place.
All that to say that the equipment is there to serve your purposes. If you're happy with your choice, you're right.
