The biggest thing keeping me away from Synergy is the same reason I don't use modelers with real guitar cabs. The guitar cab itself has such huge influence on the tone that having tons of different sounds means that only some of them sound great through a particular cab and the rest not so much.
I don't know if the Syn2 can output a separate signal from each channel, but if it can that's what I'd run into a stereo poweramp and each to the right cab for the preamp chosen.
