Hybrid Rig Setups!

Post some sexy pics of your hybrid rig setups! Whether it be a pedalboard with some analog drives and delays, and then a digital modeller... or whether it be a digital modeller, poweramp, guitar cab.... or even if it's a valve amp with a loadbox connected to your IEM setup....

So often we focus on a single device, but I'd be very interested to see what the "complete picture" is for people.

20W Silver Jubilee + greenback loaded 2x12 used in 4cm in with either a small analog pedal board (my current rig) or the Helix floor.

Two notes cab m+ for feeding the PA with a cab sim taking the signal before the 2x12.

I also have a Seymour Duncan power amp not shown in the picture.

Cab m+ can be used with the analog PB and go direct using it's internal amp sim.

Few items but lots of combinations.

This is neither what you'd call a sexy pic or a sexy board, but for my (likely very personal) needs it's defenitely the most competent, easy to use (defenitely awkward to set up, though) and great sounding setup I ever owned by quite a large margin (and yes, I owned a whole bunch of very elaborated setups before).
The Amp Academy (used for clean/ish sounds) is possibly subject to change (tried to find another 2nd hand Amplifirebox but it seems almost impossible), but maybe not. Of the 5 dirt pedals, The Dude and Magus boxes sometimes are exchanged in favour of whatever I feel like using.
And yes, I will as well do some cosmetic things to the board once I commit to the "strategy".

Possibly important note: No Boss amp modeling is harmed all throughout.

I may get a Hologram Chroma Console one day (for those moments when I need something beyond the typical stuff, but they're quite rare), in
that case I needed a new board/case, but in case I don't, this is perfect. Form factor is excellent, fits in my bike trailer easily, case has an option to mount a strap so I can put it over my shoulder as well. This, an FR wedge and a dual gig bag is all I need to carry.

And fwiw, as far as the general "idea" behind this setup goes (which is why it absolutely qualifies as a hybrid setup): I want direct (aka WYSIWYG) and global access to the most relevant sound forming parameters. In the first place, these are the amps used and the dirt boxes. The global blocks functionality of the GT-1000 adds some more (and 6 global parameters are mapped to the encoders).

Throughout quite some gigs by now, this has proven to work just incredibly well. Covers any style I ever need to cover, most sounds are an incredible joy to play through, too.

The pedalboard pic is old, but the only difference is that the Flint V2 has been replaced by the SA Collider.

No picture of both together but the pedalboard at home is sitting on the table you see peeking from the left on the 2nd pic.

The Luminite F6W footswitch sits on the floor for switching the pedalboard and Amp 1 via wireless MIDI.

you don't like strymon stuff, don't you?

I’m trying to figure out a hybrid rig that, using the same parts, kind of can fulfill whatever scenario I throw at it. Mind that this is for home use only for now, so my needs are low when it comes to reliability etc.

Analog board (DOD Chthonic fuzz, Fender mini comp, Precision Devices Horizon Drive, Wampler Euphoria OD) going into an ENGL Fireball 25. FX loop out to a Ibanez Pentatone EQ. Then depending on my whim for the day it goes to the Chaos Audio Stratus pedal I just got(far left on pedalboard) for modulation, delay and reverb and into FX return and finally out to 1x12 ENGL cab with a V30.

If I want/need headphones/monitors or doing recording I run the loop into my HX Stomp for power amp capture, IRs and then post-effects. I get the power amp capture from the NAM XT app running on my phone or Mac for now, but hoping they get AIDA-X up and running on the Stratus pedal so I don’t need phone or computer to run it.

The FB25 has a resistive load and line out after power amp but to me it sounds and feels better running a capture for the power amp instead.

In front of the pedalboard I also have a BOSS wireless foot switch attached to the Stomp via MIDI for snapshot switching, with options of adding additional foot switches and an expression pedal I can map to parameters on the Stomp . And finally there’s a channel/mid boost switch for the amp on the pedalboard as well.

TLDR analog up front, digital in the back, or going to 1x12 cab. This is basically all the stuff I have at home except guitars!

Nice little rig there and the ENLG :love, that little amp has been on my wishlist since day 1.

FM9 isn’t using any amp modeling in this configuration, just drives/effects. But I keep one of the class D power amps with me, so if the EVH goes down I can just swap out the head for the Powerstage or BAM200. Or I can use one of them to power a second cab for a stereo rig.
