I envy you yankees with your huge houses and what you call "finished basements". Only thing we can be proud of is our homes are not made out of wood
I mean over here if you punch a wall you'll definitely stop playing your guitar for a long time.

Fortunately for my neighbors, my house is made of block & stucco. Hurricane resistant home in Florida.

No . Most modern Florida homes are CBS construction and have walls. I imagine for code they would probably have to. The garages tend to not be finished. I can see making the garage a music room, some people do.
