One thing for me is, with all these super lush quality reverbs and what not (not talking about just the Verbera), you basically need stereo monitoring to really enjoy things. Collapsed to mono, they lose quite some of their appeal IMO. But for live, I'm a strictly mono guy and can't see that being changed any day soon. For the stuff I usually do (typically with keyboards present), there's just not much sense in going stereo. And outside of the live realm, hence usually in front of my computer when playing, I got more than enough kickass reverbs to run into option paralysis all the time.
For live purposes, in case I need some spacey sounds, I usually find delays to be the better choice in a mono setup
