Higher Power 60W mono Amp Pedal

View attachment 15742

220-240V Operation ONLY.

A transformer would be needed for 110-120V.
Oops, forgot about that bit. Anyway there's a 110v version too, it's called Playtech GPA-100, but maybe it's a bit more expensive.
And I seem to recall a discussion (on tgp maybe) where someone said there's a switch inside to convert the harley benton to 110-120v... Maybe @pipelineaudio can tell you a bit more

Why can't we all just get along?

Got a pre-amp pedal from Russia, an incoming modeler from the Ukraine, my picks and EQ pedal are from England, my strap Italy, got a spare guitar from Sweden, and my last modeler was from Finland.

I just wanted a simple little pedal amp for the rig.......

Denmark be like:

I was emailing with the dealer and he confirmed it'd need a converter for the US so we cancelled the order. In planning for it I figured out how to free up an extra rack shelf anyway so it's all good. Thanks again.

Open it up, there's a set of solder pads. There's one that says 120v, do a solder bridge or wire between the two pads and it works with US power. I think its been more than a year now, working great.

It was incredibly frustrating for HB who seems to sort of pretend they made this product not to know this when I emailed them.

Why would anyone create anything that cannot accept universal power in this day and age I wonder. It’s not as though the cost to the manufacturer would be hugely different. Could it be they want people to have to buy two units? ;)

They did, its just that when HB rebranded it, they didn't bother to even read the literature the original manufacturer provided.

I guess I meant I think global power requirement needs should be fulfilled without requiring people to solder anything or potentially void their guarantee (warranty) to enable this.

That makes sense! I think with the regular Ice Power stuff (which I think someone from this forum found that this particular amp is) its usually the solder pads. But I've seen some products where this was accomplished with a switch, not sure how much more that would cost
