Help me with choosing a delay!

Good evening guys!
For a long time I have been using single-channel vintage heads putting everything in line and goodnight!
For a few days I have been a very lucky and happy owner of Skill 30 Mezzabarba - an amplifier that I am literally in love with.
Now I find myself struggling with the Send/Return and with the Delays to be placed in S/R.
I should point out that I have an MXM Masotti line mixer that, if necessary, I could also use.
What pedal delay do you recommend to place in the S/R?
The necessary condition is that it has the ability to work only WET, therefore have the DRY/WET function, so that I can decide whether or not to use the line mixer.
I attach the photos of my pedalboard so that you can help me choose more precisely.
Thank you in advance for your immense help!

If you’re looking for multiple types of delay I’d consider squeezing in a DL4, or if that doesn’t fit, the HX One.
Thank you so much for your reply.
I'll listen to some samples, I hadn't considered it honestly. I was evaluating the Time Factor or the Timeline, but I'm open to any advice.
I tried the Boss DM-2 in S/R, but the result doesn't satisfy me 100%...

The Wampler Metaverse is another multi-delay that looks promising. A lot of people love the Timeline, but some say it’s cold sounding compared to Strymon’s other delays.
The DL4 has been around forever and on a ton of boards because it’s one of those pedals that just works and sounds good with little fuss.

The ones you are recommending have the Dry/Wet function. This is the feature that interests me the most, I want to be able to connect it through the line mixer

What kind of delay tones do you want? Analog? Digital? Are you looking for a very simple slapback, or huge ambient washes, or what???

Something structured that is more flexible and gives me more possibilities in terms of sounds and functions than a simple pedal and I repeat, that unlike the pedals, give me the option of Dry/Wet

I have a small number of delays as it is my least favorite effect. However, when I’m putting together a pedalboard, I always choose the same one. It’s not boutique or special but the TC Electronic Alter Ego 2 is the one.

It's a pedal I had been looking at some time ago but for my current needs it's too simple.
I have the impression that the S/R wants something more "structured"

Ok. My second favorite is the Strymon Volante. I’m not sure what you mean by structured but the Volante sure has a lot of granular control. I never really got into the multi-effect pedals like the Timeline as I only ever use one or maybe two patches and it seems like a waste for me. That may be what you're looking for though.

Right. When you say dry/wet and 'wet only' what you mean is a kill-dry option. There's quite a few delays on the market that offer that, from small and compact pedals to the bigger multi-algorithm pedals.

Meris LVX is pretty much the most configurable delay pedal on the market. But the capabilities definitely come at a price. It isn't as quick to put together great sounds as some other pedals.

The Source Audio Nemesis has a kill-dry option. They have a newer version of it with analog-dry-thru as well. They're quite flexible, and have plenty of controls on the pedal itself to get a range of sounds. You can go a bit deeper with the Neural editor.

The Eventide Timefactor is a very cool pedal. It is a little noisy, but if you're putting it into the effects loop (IE: your send/return) then that probably won't be a huge issue.

The Strymon Timeline is a good all rounder as well, although a little long in the tooth these days. I'd be tempted to look at some other options.

The Fractal VP4 is a very good option, not just for delays, but reverbs too. If you wanted to have "kill dry" then you can just set whatever the first effect you choose to 100% mix, and enable the 'mute in' bypass mode on the effect block, which would effectively be the same thing.

The Boss DD-500 has a direct mute option, which would be what you'd be looking for on that pedal.

Oh wow, wonderful answer @Orvillain! Just what I needed. You got the point perfectly.
What would you take if you were in my place?

Get in line my friend! That was the first thing I thought of, but no way - Pete has shut down custom pedal production for an indefinite period...
That stinks! You made it that far on your board maybe you convince him to come out of retirement to complete the circle!

Diamond Memory Lane Jr, the previous version, not the new one. Sound absolutely fantastic, and has kill-dry.

I tried in every way. I think I know him personally. He is a really affable person and a great professional but not incorruptible. Think that for the "series" pedals you need to wait 40 weeks!
The only hope he gave me is if someone were to give up he will give me precedence. Too bad there are people, I know, who have been waiting for a couple of years!
