I don't think it's a waste, per se. I just don't think anyone's mind is ever changed these days. Sonic Drive Studio has had tons of blind shootouts of many modelers with the real amp where people think the Helix clip is Fractal and vice versa.

Yet, the general consensus is that Fractal is miles beyond on another tier in another galaxy, and all Stadium can promise is Line 6 "catching up" to Fractal.

Everyone is going to bring their collective bias to Stadium clips when they arrive. Line 6 knows this.

Honestly? We could release a 100% totally silent 20-minute "clip" video on YouTube and there'd be a bunch of comments about how Agoura sounds like @$$ compared to Fractal (and if you take bots into account, QC). Trolls so lazy and predictable they won't even press play to learn there are no clips at all.

I don't really know. I knew about Helix's existence in Thomann, in a review of a Boss GT-something.

Are you asking if changes to the underlying modeling won't be automatically propagated to these amps? Because the underlying modeling in the HX amp models changed numerous times for the better over the product's lifetime.

Can you share any details on the inter-block communication? I believe you said that on Helix only Amp+Cab blocks had different impedance curves based on the cab selected.

-Will the new inter-block communication/impedance curves apply to Helix amps on Stadium or just Agoura?
-Will it work with 3rd part IR's or only Helix cabs?
-Will there be an ability to override/pick which impedance curve you want?
-Any chance impedance curves could be edited?

I grew up on pedals chained together, the card catalog/Dewey Decimal System to find information, and I don't think the Fractal UI is difficult at all.


And I learned to drive on a manual transmission.
