I'm temped to get the Headrush because the Soldano, etc, but people said the quality of the model is the same as the Revalver 5.0, is that true?

In all serious; I am not sure. There are varying accounts of HR being rebranded this or that. The amp models in the box that I would want are not there last I knew or not there in any quantity. Boss focuses on their own amps and that is 100% not what I want out of amp modeling.

If you want amp modeling of specific amps get anything but the Boss. If you want sick metal tones get the GX-10, load up the X Ultra or X Modded and go to town.

I think I'll buy the Headrush and see how it goes. They have "official' peavey amps and a modded Soldano, plus it can capture plugins
I think if I were to buy a boss, they are almost same price here where i live both GX10 and Flex Prime, I'd miss having at least 2 hi gain sounds like a Peavey 1992 and would then end up buying some 5150 pre amp...

Yeah, if you need specific models just get the Headrush.

I don't think you'll regret it, it's a great unit. There are some really great amp and super clones out there, both paid and free on the Headrush cloud.

how many clones can you run at the same time? I mean can I run a TS9 clone + a amp clone? two clone blocks?
About the official Headrush clones, are they installed in the firmware or do I have to download manually in the cloud?
Thanks!

You can run two clones at the same time so yes, you can run a TS9 clone and an amp clone. But I don't believe you can run three. You'd also start to quickly run out of dsp if you did. And unless you're very susceptible to the finer nuances of a tubescreamer, I really don't think running a clone of that is necessary. There are some pretty good TS models in the Headrush already. I believe there are like four different ones already?
There are a few "built-in" clones already on the hardware when you get it but you'll probably quickly start to find some on the cloud that you'd like to try. The cool thing is that you can try out the rigs in the cloud (including the ones using clones) directly on the unit before choosing to download. Works really well and is a nice QoL feature.
