Have you sold any pedals lately?

Just sent away my Tonex One pedal I bought during the group buy and earlier in the week my purple HX Stomp left the nest, so currently without digital pedals. I did buy a TC Electronics Bucket Brigade instead, so now I have all the FX I usually used digitally in ”real” pedals instead. It’s been very liberating actually thus far not mucking around with computer editors, MIDI and FX loops. Just a home player so a modeler is strictly for fun for me and has no actual utility.

Waiting for an AM4 but that will primarily be used standalone without integrating with everything else. Hoping for less config time and more playing time this year.

Now that I’ve got my selection picked out for my pedalboard and having changed course after buying some stuff, I’ll have a few to get rid of. I generally think of pedals as ‘cheap and you’ll never know when you need it, not worth the hassle of selling’ but I’m going down the Vibe rabbit hole and that can get pricey…in addition to the new Fuzz Face addiction.

That was a good run from August-last weekend of buying pedals every couple days/weeks, the most I’ve ever accumulated pedals in that amount of time in my life, but it was fun!

Yeah, I do like to keep things around even if they're not currently used much and selling pedals and gear can definitively be a hassle. But there's a balance somewhere. Selling the items listed above funded gear I do appreciate more, like my AM4 for instance. And honestly, for most of the items on that list, I actually sold for a higher price than I bought.

The only one I seriously regret is the Ibanez PQ-9, it was in pristine condition and I paid 50€, these days they're rare AF and usually go for 300€ or more.
