My hurried final purchase of 2025 is a good-condition block logo Phase 100 from 1980, which I found for a fair price. It's been modded (true bypass, 9V socket, status LED) and even comes with the original cardboard box.

Well, didn’t last long. Did a swap on Craigslist. Wasn’t sure it was going through (but the dude was nice and it happened with no weirdness) so ordered the Yellow Fall just in case (I was delay-less for days!). The Obscura is so 2017 I know, but sounds amazing. Never had reverse echo before. Very trippy!

Got the Hendrix Fuzz Face today, as posted in the Fuzz thread. I only got a few minutes with it before leaving for the dog park and upon returning found that something changes at night time and the RF gets so fucking bad any fuzz pedal is straight up unusable in my studio. The buzz/hum is obnoxious and keeps going while you're playing, sometimes overpowering it.

Meh... If you're keeping it, I recommend a (4 cable/triggered earlier) noise gate behind that.

I’m lucky where I live we have really good mains at all times of the day and night.
I did have a Spark friend put in a separate mains spur for my Audio system listening room years ago which makes a big difference .

Yeah, I definitely need some kind of noise gate going on here. Even without the fuzzes, I'm playing single coil Strats and this shit will infuriate me to no end.
Edit- Just grabbed an ISP Decimator G-String.

We'll see, it doesn't look like he makes it anymore and I'd have to add one to each guitar. I'd like to try to resolve all the noise issues on the board itself first. And the Suhr system seems to target 60cycle hum as where I'm having a pretty big RF issue far, far, far more than any 60 cyl hum!
