I recently bought a couple of used oversized cabs that should hopefully put an end to my gear purchases for 2025.

I just took delivery of a Marshall 1960TV that was made in 2020. I think it should have the newer UK Greenbacks.

I will pick up a well worn Mesa Rectifier Standard Slant 4x12 later this week.

Both incredible cabs that should compliment one another perfectly.

TV <3

I sadly never played one in RL, but some of my all time fav IR are made of it. Most famously Leon Todd's "LT TV Mix" IR which has been my go-to for years (and is).

I picked up the Mesa 4x12 late this afternoon. Last big purchase of this year. Until the next one of course.

It turned out to be a straight traditional sized cab. Not an OS cab, but still an opportunity to hear the Mesa 8ohm V30s. I haven’t had time to figure out when it was built, but it appears to a 2000s model. I won’t have any time to play it until the weekend.

Update - The Celestions are dated May 2001.

Tbh would rather have the traditional.

I've had 2 different OS and meh. Not bad by any means but overhyped for sure. I think the traditional is much harder to find too
