Happy Father's Day!

Just started to prep some Jerk Chicken to be done on the Grill later. Gonna go visit a
friend I haven't seen in a few weeks later this afternoon, and then cook the Chicken
on the Grill when I get home.

I became the Patriarch (oldest Male) of the Family in the past week and I am not sure
I'd ever get here. WTF happened? How did I suddenly become my Grandfather's age
when I was a child?

I can tell you're serious about that Chicken because you capitalized Chicken. And Grill.

I'm getting new gutters on the house today, which is, like, more adulting than I can usually tolerate in one dose. And to add insult to injury - or maybe trade a little insult for injury - I got the "senior discount". Overall sense is I'm "on the exit ramp" now.

Almost Home!

I had some very healthy moments of becoming exceedingly Verklempt this
weekend. We seem to have more of our life-span in the rear-view mirror than
out front of the windshield. Not that we don't have a great view outside the windshield.

And hey, Gutters can be "sexy," too.

I had a bit of insomnia over the weekend because I couldn't stop going over the expense of the project. When I explained this to my wife I added, "I just can't get my head out of the gutters."

What better time for a dad joke, right?
