I'd like to share two hand-carved violin-inspired guitars – one is completed and assembled, while the other is still in the final assembly process.
They all share a similar concept and body shape, but I intentionally made them "similar but not the same." Each piece features a unique hand-carved pattern with distinct depth, grooves, and character.
The goal was to combine the classic, elegant aesthetic of a violin with the aggressive feel of a solid-body electric guitar, using deep wood carving techniques and a dark finish to highlight the wood's texture and grain.
The finished guitar is wired and ready to play, while the unfinished guitar is still awaiting hardware installation and final setup.
I'd love to hear feedback from fellow guitar makers – I'm always open to ideas from fellow guitar makers.
