Hi everyone, Troy here, costar on The Gear Podcast" with Leon Todd.
My studio, Hammerspace Recording, is pleased to release our first TONEX captures “Volume 1”
5 amps have been captured in this collection
- Marshall JMP 1977 modded by Headfirst Amps
- Cornford MK50
- Mesa Boogie Stiletto
- Kasha Evil Robot
- ADA MP-1 and Fryette 2/90/2 power amp
Each amp pack included two captures of each tone - one capture is the amp and speaker together and one is the amp only. The speaker and cab for each amp has been chosen to best compliment each amp, but if you can choose to use your favorite IR with the amp only capture.
Also included in each pack are a number of custom IR’s of the speakers used for each amp. These were captured with a Shure SM57 and a Royer R121. Included are these mic by themselves, the main blend used for each capture, as well 9 additional blends of these two mics at 3dB increments.
Each amp is available to purchase by itself, or you can buy the whole collection for a discount. There is also a Sampler pack of 18 captures and 3 IRs taken from the each amp pack. Finally, the IR’s are also available to purchase by themselves.
