Out for the lulz...

Luv-gun is my weapon of choice, too...

But... go get'em... whatever yer into!

Changing poo to heart. Was just for comedic effect.

I’ve tried WeThePeoplw holsters. Pretty good. Interested in trying a new brand. Thanks for the suggestions.

Alien Holsters have a very comfortable and breathable pad for IWB that covers the entire gun, not just the holster, so no part of the gun ever touches the body. Living in florida heat even, they are comfortable.

I may or may not have…
Sig P229
Sig P365 with green dot laser
Glock 19 with red dot laser
HK45 Tactical

The P365 is obviously the carry gun.

I was intending on getting a P365 for EDC. The P320 is my favorite pistol I've ever owned/fired, I need to get one again as I let my ex keep it when we divorced.

It’s really a cool size and fun to shoot. Although (for me) the size causes me to lose some accuracy vs. slightly bigger ones. But that’s only at a far distance. For self-defense purposes, it’s just fine. And easy/comfortable to conceal.

I have a Kimber Micro 9 and an Sig 938 that get some carry time in the summer. Snappy little guns, but they are so easy to conceal…

Here’s the Sig in a cell phone holster. I never carry it in that, I was just checking to see if it fit. It does…

Never owned one as I always lived in the city/suburbs. Some of my family are hunters, most aren't. For a while during the dark times (2020) we strongly considered one for home protection but we're basically back to normal now.

My 16 year old seems interested in getting one as his friends are into air soft and hunting. I told him if he's interested to sign up for trap shooting club at school because they'd do a heck of a lot better job than I would at teaching proper use and safety, then we could take a gun safety class together and of course need a thoroughly locked case that he couldn't access. He seemed to lose interest at that point.

It’s a huge responsibility, and there is a shitload of homework that needs to be done to ensure that you know how to operate and store firearms safely-and also learning all applicable laws.

Some P320 facts to consider...

a) The P320's Striker Safety needs to move only 0.036" to free the fully cocked striker (brand new P320, and perhaps less when worn/dirty/broken in?).

b) The above correlates to a trigger pull of only 0.09" to fully disengage the striker safety (brand new P320 and perhaps less when worn/dirty/broken in?).

That means it's certainly possible that if the trigger is barely moved 0.09", and then the Slide is torqued vs the FCU/Grip on a P320 with a sloppy FCU/Grip to Slide fit, then it's feasible that the striker could be released without the trigger being pulled through the break at 0.201" ("wiggle fire").

Also the P320's striker safety, and manual safety when so equipped, are both weak designs as Sig went away from the P320's two safety designs for the P365's which has a proper plunger striker safety with a totally captured coil spring. Do note that the FBI Ballistics Lab reported that the P320 striker safety's torsion spring is only captured on one leg. Also of note is when equipped, the P365 has a manual safety that directly blocks the sear unlike the P320's manual safety which only blocks the trigger bar.

...be careful as P320's are known to have a short fuse.

Ha- that’s crazy.

Oh and I love Kimbers (small and large) but never had the privilege of owning one. Dad had one for a while, as did his friend. Very nice guns.

The craftsmanship is top notch, that’s for sure. When I realized that I needed a 1911 (everybody needs to own a 1911 at least once in their life), I wound up going with a Kimber version. It’s too expensive to carry so it’s basically a range gun, but I’m good with that.

From all I have seen; it's generally an expensive hobby as well. I've always thought it would be cool to try but didn't want to invest in another money sucking hobby beyond gear

It can add up quick if you let it. A buddy took me shooting once, many years ago, and I was hooked.
