these are all actually reasonable players aside from the dudes preference for 9s set too low. Hard to judge them tonally with that setup, too. But cool.
Is that a Washburn Wonderbar trem? I had one of those on my first guitar.
They worked. The bar was just stiff as heck.
I’m sure it’s listed somewhere as “signs of overspray. Possible refin. Great players grade vintage tele. $12,000”Back on topic, I butchered a 1960s Tele in the 1970s when I chiseled and hacked at the body to install a Dimarzio that ended up sounding awful, so I crudely filled in the hole with wood paste, but then needed a replacement pickup cause the winding got severed when I tried putting it back in. Oh, and I used a butane lighter to enlarge the pick guard hole (there might’ve been some weed involved at that point). I also yanked out the frets and then hammered in some bass frets, and then shellacked the neck!
But still played that Tele happily throughout the 1980s. Here’s a pic jamming on it at my brother’s bachelor party in the mid 1980s.

Sold it as is in the early 1990s. Sometimes I wonder where that battered Tele ended up.
Maybe, but not very well in my experience. They worked. The bar was just stiff as heck.
I had one on my A-15V (which just happens to be butchered by me) but replaced it with a Kahler because it is smoother. The Wonder Bar was pretty solid for tuning stability.Maybe, but not very well in my experience.
I stopped installing the bar in mine because it would go out of tune just by looking at it.
What in robotic tuner hell is that?!
But there’s no routing.I have seen a lot of scary stuff over the years but somehow that wonder bar contraption has evaded me and I am grateful.
THEN WHY US IT IN THIS THREAD ABOUT BUTCHERING?!?!?!?!?!?!But there’s no routing.
Look at it again, I guess.THEN WHY US IT IN THIS THREAD ABOUT BUTCHERING?!?!?!?!?!?!
Since that was probably done in the 80s, I'm going with cocaine thought it was a good idea
Dang. I haven't seen a door hinge tremolo since 1985Saw this on a Facebook ad for a guitar refinishing shop. I hope it's the "before" shot.

It's those switches that really tie it together. Those look like the insides of some light switch you are supposed to mount on a wall.Saw this on a Facebook ad for a guitar refinishing shop. I hope it's the "before" shot.
