@Eagle Would you ever suggest sending a neck to a luthier for a re-radius and re-fret without shipping the rest of the guitar with it?

Personally no but it depends if there are any other issues. A re-radius is an opportunity to fix many things and quite a few of them are not visible without string tension. Some repair guys have a body jig that they could put the neck on but it's not as good as the whole guitar for assessment .
