I had heard hints of this all throughout 2024. Looks like it is actually happening.





Probably gonna be the first Friedman I have owned in quite some time. Maybe. :LOL:

What is known so far:

100 watts.
Will include all the renowned "Jose Mods"
FX Loop

Ongoing production build

I got rid of 2 of my other music streaming, Amazon Music and either Spotify or Pandora (I was bouncing back and forth). Getting rid of those 2 to get YT Prem was about the same price and better than both other services by far.

If the rumors are true that Marshall is rolling out a modded line, Friedman was pretty damn smart beating them to the punch and getting an official sign off from the family.

I’d be willing to bet this was originally going to be the Mick Mars/Dr. Feelgood Jose until Mick went on the show and in one small sentence blew that out of the water when he said he still owns the Dr. Feelgood Jose. I can just imagine Dave glazed over in his head at that exact moment.

From what I read elsewhere, this will be a recreation of Vai’s Jose’s.

I have been thinking of getting rid of Spotify and doing YT premium. I haven't spent enough time with the music app to know if it will give me what Spotify gives me. I use Spotify in my SUV and on the motorcycle through Android auto. I put the YT Music app on my phone and it does work with AA. I just need to use it a bit more and decide.

I know it's personal preference, but to me the YT UI works so much better than Spotify and Amazon. Amazon use to be perfect, but they kept updating it and then seems like they just abandoned it which sucks because I have Alexa's in every room of the house so I can hear it in every room and they wont allow YT app on it:cuss

I have the access to Amazon's music due to being a Prime member. I used it for a little while years ago but but Spotify just worked better for me. I would love to remove the YT commercials and if I can get the music I want on their app that is best. That way I can trade one service for another and not have to pay for two. I should probably just switch. I can always switch back if I don't like it.
 
YT Music is great. The UI is very easy to navigate and I love that you can include YT videos (the audio portion only) in your playlists. So it's great for older music that was not uploaded to streaming services but someone uploaded to YT. Or for live music from YT videos etc.
They used to be Google Play Music, and it was already good, but when Google integrated it to the YT platform and subscription it became even better.
