Free Komplete 15 Select for you US folks.

From wiki (so you know it's 100% accurate and truthful):
"Trap music, also known simply as trap, is a subgenre of hip-hop music which originated in the Southern United States, with lyrical references to trap starting in 1991 but the modern sound of trap appearing in 1999. The genre gets its name from the Atlanta slang term "trap house", a house used exclusively to sell drugs. Trap music is known for its simple, rhythmic, minimalistic productions that use synthesized drums, and is characterized by complex hi-hat patterns, snare drums, bass drums, some tuned with a long decay to emit a bass frequency, and lyrical content that often focuses on drug use and urban violence."
Probably my least favorite genre of music ever. I hate the sound. Closely followed by reggaeton...

So In other words its not music

What's the issue with installing? You download and install Native Access, enter your account information when opening and then enter the key you've been provided by email.
Yes, having to download a "mother" program kinda sucks, but once you own more than one plugin from a company, it's actually sort of decent, especially as Native Access also allows you to move sample locations, manage computers (should you get a new one), provides you with updates and what not.
Pretty much all bigger plugin companies use a similar way to manage their stuff these days.
And fwiw, it's still a lot better than the IK nightmare.
Well, I already have Ozone11 and Neutron, so I guess that mean I already have Native Access installed ?

edit: Yep.

Depends on when you installed it. Earlier versions were also available as individual installers and through iZotope's Product Portal - until NI acquired iZotope (at least kinda). But why don't you just look for Native Access on your computer?

Still not sure what this Komplete 15 (Band Version) even does.

It's a bunch of instrument and audio processing plugins, some pretty decent ones among them. The individual items of either pack are described sort of well straight on the SW page where you claimed your copy.

I don't need any of that.

Is there something that can play the bass ?

It downloads the install files, attempts to install, install fails, it tells me to give full disk permission to the app, I do that, it re downloads the install files, attempts to install, install fails, it tells me to give the app full disk access, it already has it, I reboot, try again, it re downloads the install files, attempts to install, install fails, it tells me to give the app full disk access, it already has it, I delete the whole thing, I go do something productive.

Old Man Yelling About Music He Doesn't Understand While Also Yelling About Software He Downloaded Because It Was Free Even Though He Had No Idea What It Did has to be about as epically "what do guitar players talk about in 2025?" as anything.

I gather you're on a Mac, right?

If you don't mind working with midi and a keyboard/controller it's a fun and useful program. I've had Komplete for years now and still use it.

Fwiw, if I didn't have it already, I'd opt for one of the packs with Battery 4 in it. Yes, it's a shame how they treated it when going from version 3 to 4 (in fact, it's an offense to human intelligence), but it's still an excellent tool to quickly load samples, modify them and fire them off through your keyboard.
