Fender just launched its own free DAW software for recording music
Iconic brand Fender just launched Fender Studio. This free music-recording software is primarily intended for newbies.

Even Linux?!

No way they give away the TPM amps, cabs and FX for free. Maybe a stripped down version, or a paid plugin. Are they going to roll in the full TMP into it eventually? If so; smart move.
probably better to give away a handful with the hope that they'll be impressed and spend a lot more, than spend money developing something different that's worse and puts people off. Unless they've just reskinned some old Presonus stock sims, but again, why make extra work that might put people off spending money? No way they give away the TPM amps, cabs and FX for free. Annnnnnd if they have a DAW which essentially becomes a VST equivalent....probably better to give away a handful with the hope that they'll be impressed and spend a lot more, than spend money developing something different that's worse and puts people off. The whole point of these free DAW's is to hook people in.
I'd love to see Fender put a native add-on inside Studio One at some point. Hopefully down the road...I guess it‘s a very stripped down version of Presonus‘ Studio One.
Yep, but it's also cool that Fender have made an iPhone app for this too as GarageBand/Logic have a huge advantage with being able to import sessions made on iOS.This looks to be a great alternative for non-Apple users, as all iPhone, iPad, and Mac users get a free copy of Garage Band which each device purchased.
