No way they give away the TPM amps, cabs and FX for free. Maybe a stripped down version, or a paid plugin.
probably better to give away a handful with the hope that they'll be impressed and spend a lot more, than spend money developing something different that's worse and puts people off. Unless they've just reskinned some old Presonus stock sims, but again, why make extra work that might put people off spending money?

The whole point of these free DAW's is to hook people in.

This looks to be a great alternative for non-Apple users, as all iPhone, iPad, and Mac users get a free copy of Garage Band which each device purchased.

Yep, but it's also cool that Fender have made an iPhone app for this too as GarageBand/Logic have a huge advantage with being able to import sessions made on iOS.

Having said that, for a basic free DAW that isn't Reaper Luna might offer less limitations while still being designed for beginners/simple use in mind.

Kinda cool if you like the use case. Everyone has a smartphone/tablet and with the dongle you have a little portable jam setup.

Their devices aren’t yet my thing, but I give them a lot of credit for being forward thinking and not ignoring the digital space. They’ll be well served long term for putting in the work now. (y)

Just read that it doesn’t support MIDI, third party plugins or virtual instrument sequencing. To use one of @pipelineaudio favourite words; this sounds like crippleware.

It’s similar kind of limitations that make Pro Tools First a waste of time. I could imagine iOS users quickly making their mind up to settle on Garageband or Logic at $5 a month.
