Instrumental Ode To Fractal Audio

SIGNAL PATH: Kiesel Tim Miller M6 Guitar - Fractal Audio Axe-FX III Turbo MKII - Empress Effects ZOIA (doing synth pad duty).

Guitar tone is using the new “Deluxe 6G3” amp model based on the bright channel of a Fender 6G3 “Brownface” Deluxe and the new “Citrus Juicer” Compressor model based on a Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer. All available in the new Fractal Axe-Fx III Firmware 31.01 Beta.

I'm using a slightly tweaked preset (I'm using scene 5) made from a user on the forum, which you can find here:

And THIS is where the rack-lust will kick in. "I don't WANT a rack...but dem early firmwares!"

Fortunately for me I still remember what it was like gigging with rack units, which quickly talks me out of getting another one.

I don’t need any update that fast, I’ll stick with an all in one foot controller.

There are some appealing thing about the III, but none of them outweigh my dislike for gigging rack rigs compared to floor rigs.

I've almost always gone with a Friedman, Cameron, or one of the modded Brit 800s for hot rodded Marshall tones, but the JVM is just:chef. I never really gave it a chance because I've seen so many people trash the real amp online.
the JVM orange is outstanding even the Green w a boost is great

I mostly use the 5153 or Recto 1, but I need to spend some time with the JVM. I tried a real DSL100 recently and loved it.

Anyone you see say this, you immediately ignore their existence.

Same I paid it no attention because back in the day everyone hated on them. It’s been kinda disorienting to me with all the love the models of it get now. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen one on a stage.

The problem with the real amp IMO is that it is really noisy but so is a 5150
The red modes also have to much gain and can get fizzy but the Orange od1/2 are great

It really does. But all we need is a capture of that cab and speaker. The amp itself isn't all that different from what we have now.
Isn’t Joe a big fan of using the Jubillee Rythm channel w a boost or the clip engaged
