I’ve done it both ways for a very long time. So for no issues. I did set scammed over a Facebook marketplace, but it was all my fault. I didn’t follow my own rules for choosing the seller right.

Just today there was an FM3 MKii Turbo listed locally for $500 (FB marketplace). Told the guy I was local. His first response was “I can mail it”. I proceeded to block him and acknowledge the “it’s too good to be true” fact.

Kind of reminds me of one time in the Army on a training trip, my buddy lost his cell phone at the bar and the next morning he was flipping our hotel room apart looking for it. I asked “did you have ‘Find My’ enabled? He logged into his iCloud, we saw that it was in a part of town we were NOWHERE near, grabbed two more buddies and we drove to get it. Some dude who was living with his mom stole that mf and his face was a mix of shame and fear when we showed up at his front door lmao. Got the phone back though

I managed my own forum in the 2000's to mid 2010's... People just don't get how MUCH more work it takes to fight bots, scammers, etc - you guys just get to see the tip of the iceberg when stuff gets past a bunch of controls that are in place.

I don't envy the people keeping this forum going.

Unless you are lucky enough to live in a state with no sales tax that total is going to be closer to $2700 with tax and shipping

I can only imagine. Reminds me of the abject horror that is social media moderation - independent contractors tasked with filtering out CP and snuff material and then everyone winds up needing intense therapy afterwards.

Well my wife’s tire got fucked up in a pothole and we had to replace it, lol no Axe FX III for me for a bit. I was able to get a Helix rack for $800 and a used Suhr RL. Such is life. The Suhr is something I NEED and the Helix will hold me over for a long while.

Great tone. Great Playing .... but .... the bit that really got to me was your phrasing .... melodic, musical and you weren't afraid let notes sit and hang.

That's a f*cking rare thing these days in a world where most guitarist think more-notes-equals-better.

For me, its all about melody, phrasing and note choice - this clip has all 3 in spades.
