It’d be nice if it was just an option in the stomp mode, as the output boost currently is. Don’t get me wrong, having the Output boost as an option is cool. But the option for both would be swell.

Should work as an EXP only, by taking EXP out of the boss pedal into the AM4 with TRS cable.

Any of you cats running external delays/reverbs? I am really happy with the internal, of course. But thinking of adding something down the road, for different flavors. I saw Leon's H90 video, and obviously GAS hit like a 2am Taco Bell 7-layer burrito.

I have a Keeley Halo and Nocturne but I usually just have those directly on my amp's loops.
Same here. Those two pedals cover all of my delay/reverb needs and then some.

The Nocturne is cool with more clean/edge-of-breakup models in the AM4 - but if the AM4 ever gets the MTD block I don't think you would need it (and Aura type in MTD for the haloish stuff) - That said, I get a reasonable Faux Nocturne with the current delay block and diffusion,

Turning a Reverb block with Hall, Medium into a pitchy delay just by using the PITCH SHIFT feature. Just get creative and you can do quite a bit inside AM4 when needed! Be perfect if someone needs 2 delays on AM4 with some quirky pitch shifting! This block can be used on AM4 and VP4. @iaresee...

not AM4 related exactly, but I am using my RV-5 explicitly for the Modulate mode. Nothing else like it. I also use an Alesis Midiverb II for some sounds. It is kind of harsh and vintage sounding, in a cool way. I also use a UA Golden pedal, a Meris MercuryX, an MXR Reverb, and a shed load of VST plugins.
Honestly, while the Fractal delays and verbs are great, they're really just one or two flavours of a thing. they don't completely replace every reverb out there in existing. Well worth having more options in your belt.

I haven’t really decided if I want to use my AM4 primarily as a stand-alone unit (with the occasional external add-on), as has been the case so far, or mount it more permanently on a bigger board with additional pedals, an expression pedal, MIDI switches, etc.
I may also end up somewhere in between, with just a few external pedals added to a small board. The point would be to add some more control/switching and off-load some work to free up blocks in the AM4.
If I go that route, I’ll probably let the AM4 handle the comp, amp, cab, (most) modulation, delay and reverb duties (as I love Fractal’s reverbs and delays), and add some of my favourite external drive pedals.
