THE THING ABOUT AN FM0 IS THAT IT WOULD HAVE AN ACTUAL FUCKING EFFECTS LOOP!!!!GODDAMMIT MONGILLO
See you lose me at 9 “ deep wood combo ampSee above. Literally just cut off the foot switch section of the FM3 so I can put the thing in a 9" deep combo instead of 10.5". I talked to Cliff about whether I could just unplug the foot switch board and modify the case, but concerns about boot errors. So obviously they should make this thing for me and my specific needs. That combo amp was the genesis of the idea of the FM0 and nobody that ever says it thinks its actually going to happen, or be useful for more than 5 people.
Got to admit that I’d subscribe.okay, but great channel concept: every modeler and capture player tested solely via A/B comparisons to a tonelab
Hardwood combo has all sorts of drawbacks. PlywoodSee you lose me at 9 “ deep wood combo amp
I feel putting an FM3 in a Mesa hardwood combo shell may have its drawbacks

FixedI think the AM4 has just the right size and functionality for musicians who don't want to bring shit to their gigs, like me.

This x a LOT, actually. This actually has me considering selling my FM9 and scooping up the AM4 and VP4 to use in a more modular fashion across a couple different pedalboards.
"sometimes you gotta buy more gear to be able to carry less gear"This x a LOT, actually.
AM4 on my bumblee for nu metal, VP4 with Stadium for rotary, plex verb and whatever other post stuff the Stadium still "needs work" on.
I mean, if you guys are willing to let your FM9's go . . .
For me the desire for that was so that I could plonk my "FM0" on top of a cab, on a desk, any stand really so if I need to fiddle with something I don't need to bend over to do that.I still don’t get the FM0 thing… why would you need all the power of the FM3 with no footswitches? Or do you mean amp and cab modeling only?
).For me, the AM4 launch was late. It should have come out when the Tonex, or perhaps the VP4, came out. I always have the impression that Fractal is just watching what its competitors are doing and then adjusting accordingly. The hardware, however, has always been a step backward, never forward, and that's the big handicap. I really wish this product had come out three years ago.
