I’ve spent about two hours with this this morning. Working on a demo in just a bit here. This little rig fucks pretty GD hard.

My live rig is the 50w head with Killer Kali for all the mid to high gain sounds. Currently running the Bman for clean and lower gain sounds, but also have the TW/DLX for really clean stuff. Love the way the Kali just fits the mix with the band and cuts in a good way. One channel is set for rhythm and the other for lead.

Kick ass! I actually used the exact rig above for my last AC/DC tribute gig and it even killed for that. I generally use the Syn-2 with a VHT 2/90/2 power amp.

I use mine with an Axe-FX III for effects and get kind of a hot rodded JCM level of gain for my vintage rock tones, and then goose it with the Maxon OD and add a parametric EQ after the preamp to get a bit more modern metal sounds, Those two presets cover most of our set, and then I have one more lower gain that the other preamp module covers and a few with specific effects for songs. (Like the Audioslave stuff.)

Have you tried/how does that 50w hold up Unmiked, in a rehearsal setting with a drummer?

Plenty loud enough. I turn it up A LOT more when I record than I do for rehearsals or gigs. The analog cab sim is much better than most I have used and works fine to get a little into the PA to have fuller room coverage on gigs.
