Love that he mentions using very few fx, cranking his amp and only using the bridge pup. Maybe that’s where I got it from?

Only the bridge pickup is connected, actually. And it's still like that to this day.

Have you ever read Look Me in the Eye by John Elder Robison. Apparently, he was the guy that made Ace’s guitar smoke and light up.

Back in the early 90's I did some apprentice work with Steve Carr, who was a guitar tech for Kiss in their prime. He built my first LP, commissioned by my family as a graduation gift for me.

Not much else to asy other than it makes me very sad that he's gone. I was at a King's X show last night right after I heard the news. Ty Tabor gave a shoutout to Ace during the show saying that he(Ty) has been playing Les Pauls since tha 70s, and the reason why is Ace Frehley. I wonder how many kids picked up a guitar becasue of him..
