I’ve run forums before. The capability isn’t odd.

It’s that a mod would take the time to go turn off editing for just Tim. That would be odd.

I’ve also had it set so newbies couldn’t edit their posts because scammers would come in and post some dumb seemingly on topic post and then a week later return to edit it so they can add some backlink to some dumb site.

But Tim has progressed beyond any such post count trigger like that.
