Saw this same version at John Petrucci Guitar Universe 5 this past August, played it, asked about it, and the guys there with the EBMM guitars on display said they'd be making a run of 100, starting in September.

Turns out, JP took it with him on tour too, and used it for Panic Attack. So I actually played it before he did!

I called EBMM to see if they were still going to run it, since Sept and Oct came and went with no guitar. But they said it's coming, and here it is.

12-58 tuned in A# std, 27.5" scale. I will own one.

You should lemme rent-to-own your Silverburst to offload some of the cost of this. :rollsafe
You know, human nature and all that shit is baffling in some ways.

You know my story of how I bought that guitar when in my early teens with my grass-cutting money. Parents were no help. All me. And you know I don't even play it, having moved past it and PRS onto my love of EBMM.

If that Les Paul somehow was removed from my house without my knowledge, I probably wouldn't even know it happened for a period of time, since it stays in its case with my acoustics.

So part of me says, "Just sell it already. Let it go to where it would be used, and appreciated."

But another part of me just doesn't know how I'd fare, with it being gone, because it's still a very special part of my life, even if it's a part of my past.

Idk. Like I said, it's just weird for me. Maybe some day...

I totally get it, man!

Doesn’t mean I’m not gonna try to get it from ya occasionally!!! :rofl

Don't ever sell it. Especially to Drew. Tell him to just find a MIJ knock-off. :D

I saw this post on FB and came here to find your post about them finally being available lol.

Welp, they're out in the wild.

EBMM had "Delivery in 4 months" yesterday; now it says "Ready to ship." And I found 4 stores that have 1, but a couple are just using stock pics, which I suppose means they haven't even bothered to open the box. :nails

Think I'll wait a bit...

Meanwhile, the Axe III is doing a real good job on dropping the pitch 3 steps, as I get Panic Attack under my fingers. I didn't really care for that song when it came out, but it sure is fun to play!!
