it’s brilliant. The essentials version is a handful of common presets and tbh it’s a lot better than it should be. But the full fat version is literally a 1:1 clone of a 480L with some bonuses. Every bit as good as the UAD version if not better because of the extras.Anyone checkout Relab LX480?

That’s exciting to read. I LOVED the hardware.it’s brilliant. The essentials version is a handful of common presets and tbh it’s a lot better than it should be. Just buy with no hesitation. Having unlimited instances of a 480L for a fraction of the hw cost is incredible and it still holds its own against anything out there. That’s exciting to read. I LOVED the hardware.
Lexicon PCM Native Bundle. It still just sounds magic to me, it has this expensive and musical quality to it. A good mix of classic Lexicon style sounds (Random Hall, Vintage Plate, Concert Hall) as well as some newer more natural sounding algos. Still Lexicon’s flagship reverb, despite people saying it sounds too clean compared to older Lexicons IMO it compares well against anything out there. I’m not sure anything sounds better than this, but some are as good.
Best bet with the lexicon verbs is to hunt around online. They used to fairly regularly go for $200-250ish from places like thomann and audio deluxe. KVR and knobcloud often have used licences too.Does Lexicon ever put their bundles on sale? I’ve been keeping an eye out on some of their old rack units, but wavering based on the practicality of just using the plugs. Sweet jeebus they are proud with their pricing though. Almost makes buying a rack unit seem practical.
Or just buy Relab’s 480 or UAD/Arturia’s 224XL. All different eras of lexicon and slightly different but all awesome.
