Well knowing you, it was the first thing I thought of!
My first thought in stringing a 12-string with only 6 strings would be the lack of tension. Might work though.

Having a guitar in Nashville was nice, especially for that song, but the novelty wore off pretty fast, since it didn't really inspire me, so I switched it back shortly after. I can't remember if I had to mess with the setup, but damn did it sound great!

Hahaha it’a cheap Johnson I spent $50 just so I could record the intro of one of my songs, the neck can fold in on itself and I wouldn’t care. Tuning that damn thing to play something once and hoping it doesn’t slip out by the time I finish is enough of a hassle.

It's not humongous amount of work and it sound much better. That's the whole point, to have two different recordings.

Idk if they are any different but I've had 2 JP15s and my goodness was the quilts control terrible for a 3.5k guitar
