All 3 of my Majesties have the Maple shield, and have a gloss finish. So I'd really like to own a full Maple top version, but also one with a satin finish. There are 3 examples for sale right now that meet my other criteria- they're at least 20% off new price, (25, 27 & 29 actually), and the strings appear to be perfectly centered on the neck.

I'll be honest, $4k and over is pushing past my comfort zone, but those 2 are really heavily-discounted, and the tops are freaking gorgeous! All 3 are free shipping. (Fuck, my hands are shaking just typing this!)

Yeah I'm leaning that way too. Plus it's the best value (compared to its new price, which for those full-Maple-top versions are overpriced to begin with, imo.)

I'm not sure how that neck would feel to play though, and there's very little chance one would ever come up for sale locally, even though that includes Atomic, GC, & Chuck Levin's. Majesties are just very rare in stores.

Two reasons, 1 - I already have a spice melange , and 2 - I'm concerned how you will like the poly'd board. It can be annoying at times.

It can be a bit sticky at times, but it's not going to hold you back.

I kind of wish it was EBMM grade ebony, but, it's enchanting this way, and is exceedingly rare, and I'm not ever going to do anything about it!
