Said fuck it. Busted out the old iron and soldered the shit up myself. If nothing else; just to see if I could do it before I go crazy buying parts. Without the controls; it is a little brighter and more "strat (with a humbucker) like". I think I did good? I tried it out on the VII which is a circuit that is the worst for trying anything you are paranoid about noise or too trebly to try something out on. Moved to the FM and results were as expected. Fingers crossed

Nobody will make anything without a volume control unless you have them make it for you because it would be a pita. I presume you use a vol pedal all the time. Just get a scratch plate made and wire it yourself. This one is as easy as plugging your guitar in.

I'm going to bring the BL upstairs this evening and crank it up. Perhaps with the presence and treble controls turned down just a hair and see if my "wiring job" held up over night
